Climate: Warm to very hot days during the growing season with some cooling closer to the coast. Areas farther inland tend to retain more heat in the evening.

Comments: The name South Coast is a bit of a misnomer. Much of the growing region lies a significant distance inland and can experience significantly different climate profiles.
