The art of winemaking at Solis Winery began in the early 20th century and since then the strong foundation of creating the perfectly crafted wine has been combined with modern technology to produce meticulously crafted award-winning wines.
Solis is tucked in the picturesque Hecker Pass region which is just at the southwestern edge of Santa Clara Valley and just west of downtown Gilroy. You'll enjoy our charming tasting room where you will be able to sample our wide variety of wines. You may also enjoy taking a guided tour of our winery and vineyard where you will be able to take in the breathtaking view of the surrounding central coast mountains.

Solis winery has been a working winery since the late 1920's. In 1980, the Vanni family purchased the land and has been running an award-winning winery ever since. David and Valerie Vanni originally ran the business with their family and friends helping out. Once their sons, Michael and Vic, were ready, they transferred the responsibilities to them. Since 2007, David and Valerie have been free to enjoy the fruits of their labor. You will often find them hanging out in the winery tasting room, chatting with guests, or strolling between the vines on a lovely day.
