The estate vineyards are at roughly 1400+ foot elevations and have soils that are lean with calcareous rock that creates the ideal conditions for producing low yield vines. The warm summer days of Paso Robles, along with the afternoon cooling effect of the nearby Pacific Ocean allow for a longer growing season and add intensity and concentration to the fruit. Viticulture practices includes sustainable farming techniques and a hands on approach to the vineyards to assure overall balance in the vines!
